Freethinkers of WWU

Mission Statement

  • To provide a welcoming community for non-religious students by hosting regular on- and off-campus social events for members and weekly on-campus meetings open to the general public.

  • To promote the values of secular humanism and freethought on our campus and in our community through service work, educational events, speakers and workshops.

  • To facilitate open discussion and debate about topics related to faith and rational inquiry by providing a place where students of all philosophies can meet; by continually educating ourselves on the beliefs of others so we may speak from a position of knowledge; by hosting educational events, speakers and workshops.
